Potentiometers
Potentiometers and rheostats are variable resistors needed to regulate voltage or current levels, depending on whether they are connected in parallel or in series. The 3 and 5 watt potentiometers manufactured by Torivac are distinguished by their small size, linearity, smooth and precise handling and long durability. The rheostats, on the other hand, are mainly characterized by their high heat dissipation and their wide range of single-phase, double or triple power.
Doubles
Double potentiometer, 2 x 3 W, is a derivative of the 3W model for use in stereo equipment, as an attenuator. Its electrical and physical characteristics are the same as the latter.

Simple
Potentiometer is distinguished by its small diameter (25mm) despite its actual dissipation of 3 watts. Their linearity (3%) makes them suitable for sophisticated applications. They are manufactured in the standard range of values, according to the E-10 series (from 5 Ohm to 22 K).
