High power cemented resistors

Our high power cemented resistors are manufactured from high quality resistive alloy wire. The ohmic value varies little with the temperature rise of the element.

These are wound resistors composed of a resistive element wound on a ceramic tubular core used as a support and coated with a resin to ensure high dissipation capacity and excellent resistance to thermal shock and overload. It is a low inductance open element that allows very low ohmic values.

Its construction allows high power dissipation in a reduced space. This set, with lateral supports and galvanized steel case perforated to ensure proper ventilation, complies with the IP20 or IP23 protection requirement (depending on the resistor model). They can be supplied with thermal protector and with the ohmic value required by the customer.

Low temperature coefficient offering a constant ohmic value over a wide temperature range. Power resistors, being passive elements, are not affected by specific EMC standards. They do not produce interfering radiation and are not affected by it.

The characteristics of our products make our resistors particularly suitable for limiting strong currents, battery discharge, etc.
