They are a range of sinusoidal alternating current generators, with configurable voltage and frequency. They incorporate a controlled input rectifier, which limits the connection current. The output consists of a static converter, switching with pulse width modulation at high frequency, through a state-of-the-art IGBT transistor bridge.
